Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located near Sonny Bono Salton Sea wildlife refuge and halfway decent restaurants or bar & grills, making it a good spot for exploring the area. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette and all amenities, but the heaters didn't work properly. The service was top-notch with the manager or owner being very attentive and even preparing fresh eggs upon request. However, the area might feel a bit depressed. Overall, a decent choice if you plan to visit the refuge.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and comfy, but unfortunately, the kitchenette heaters were not working. The service was excellent with the manager going above and beyond, even making me fresh eggs both mornings. The location was a bit off, in a fairly depressed and desert area with limited dining options nearby. However, the hotel did have a homely dining experience with delicious homemade bread. The facilities were decent overall.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were spacious with a kitchenette and two queen-sized beds, although the heaters didn't work properly. The amenities provided were excellent, offering a comfortable stay overall. The service was exceptional, with the manager or owner going the extra mile to accommodate my requests for fresh eggs each morning. However, the price could be more competitive. The location was convenient, especially for exploring the Sonny Bono Salton Sea wildlife refuge and the surrounding desert area, making it a great base for an adventure in southern California.
I had a cozy stay at this hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. The dining options were a bit lacking, but overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was perfect for exploring the Southern California desert and wildlife refuge.
